Embodying Playfulness in Vector Illustration.
For this project, I chose to illustrate Boo from Disney’s Monsters, Inc. The illustration was meticulously crafted in Adobe Illustrator using a combination of advanced features and techniques. Gradient Mesh played a pivotal role in achieving realistic shading and smooth transitions while blending, transparencies, and gradients enhanced the lifelike appearance of light and shadow. The Pathfinder tool was leveraged for precise shape manipulation and clean vector elements, ensuring a polished finish. Custom brushes added detailed textures, enriching the illustration with depth and character. Together, these techniques resulted in a vibrant and dynamic representation that effectively captures the essence of the Boo Monsters Disney toy.
