Typography, Grids, and Storytelling
Ink&Pixels
This project aimed to develop a visually compelling multi-page layout complemented by three promotional advertisements aligning with the
magazine's theme and aesthetic. Additionally, designing an interactive
EPUB magazine promo for the Ink&Pixels magazine by showcasing its
dynamic content in a modern format.
Designing Ink & Pixels magazine was an opportunity to explore the intersection of storytelling and visual communication. As part of this school project, I created the magazine’s name and designed its logo, shaping a distinct identity that reflects its theme. The cover was developed using a money texture technique, inspired by the Mint Masterpiece NFT Art article, resulting in a bold and symbolic representation of digital transformation and value. Inside, the layout follows a structured grid system with carefully considered margins, ensuring an optimal balance between striking visuals and easy readability. Thoughtfully chosen typography and an energetic color palette reinforce the magazine’s dynamic and forward-thinking tone, creating a cohesive and engaging reading experience.
In developing the Ink & Pixels EPUB promo, I utilized Adobe Premiere to leverage its advanced multimedia features, incorporating dynamic animations and transitions that enhance audience engagement. The layout was meticulously designed in InDesign, ensuring a harmonious balance between creativity and clarity. Adopting a modular design approach facilitated readability, allowing content to flow intuitively for easy navigation. The selected color palette and typography mirrored the magazine's innovative and contemporary identity, effectively highlighting its unique features while delivering a captivating promotional experience.
